Agilent's Test and Measurement business provides standard and customized
solutions that are used in the design, development, manufacture, installation,
deployment and operation of electronic equipment and systems and
communications networks and services. These solutions include test and
measurement instruments and systems, communications
network monitoring, management and optimization tools and software design tools
and associated services.
The Test and Measurement business includes two segments:
- Operations Support Systems Group, which focuses on the communications
industry, providing test and OSS solutions for wireline, wireless and IP service
providers to help reduce capital and operating expenses and to increase
revenues.
- Electronic Measurement Group, which provides a wide range of test
and measurement instruments, solutions, systems and services to the electronics
and wireless communications industries.
