Recruiting students is an important area of focus for Agilent in Malaysia. Every year, we hire many final year undergraduates into full-time jobs. We seek smart, agile graduates that have the vision to look to the future, and the inspiration to make that vision a reality. To be sucessful as a company we must find, attract, and retain graduates with the skills and atributes necessary to take Agilent into the future.
InternshipsAs part of our Corporate Citizenship objectives, we offer industrial/vacation training to Malaysian undergraduates from local and overseas universities and colleges. We also provide opportunities (and sponsorships) for final year undergraduates who wish to do their final year projects at Agilent Technologies Malaysia. Industrial/Vacation Training Program During the training period, trainees will be assigned to carry out specific projects in designated departments under proper supervision. Typically, the projects assigned will take 3 - 6 months to complete, depending on the trainees' training requirement. The trainees will be paid a daily allowance and entitled to paid recognized public holidays, free in-house medical treatment, medical and hospitalization leave, cafeteria subsidy, company bus service (if seats available), and access to library and sports & recreational facilities. Final Year Attachment Program (for Engineering final year students) This program is offerred for final year students who wish to fulfill their final year academic requirements by undertaking engineering projects with Agilent Technologies Malaysia. Approval is given based on the academic contents of the projects and the projects relevancy to the Agilent department. Students who are offered will be paid hourly rate
How to Meet UsAgilent Malaysia conducts yearly campus visits, recruitment drives and career exhibitions locally and overseas (Australia, Taiwan, Japan, UK and USA). On-line and print advertisements are placed on campus web-sites and on notice boards to inform students of upcoming Agilent events and invite applications. Agilent Malaysia's campus recruitment team, comprised of Engineering and Human Resources managers, conducts on-campus interviews during our visits. Students can apply for training either through their college/university's recommendation or by writing to Agilent directly. A brief resume and a copy of your academic results are required as part of application. Most selections are made directly from the applications received. Interviews are conducted based on need. Students that are chosen for the program will be notified through an official offer letter that will be sent to them and their college/university coordinators. |
